So, how do you use our soaps?

Believe me, there are no silly questions when it comes to using our soaps. Replacing all your cleaning and cleansing products with a well-formulated bar of soap might take a little getting used to. There's even a few tips that can help when using bar soap after many years of plastic bottle wash.

A lot of us don't even think twice about using plastic bottle wash, detergent, shampoo - whatever - around the house. It seems so natural even though it is really the most unnatural thing when you think that that plastic bottle will take thousands of years to breakdown and that that bottle is filled mostly with water.

That's why I thought it would be great to share with you some of the tips and tricks from some of our customers to make sure you get the best out of our products and become a true soap lover for all things cleaning and cleansing.

Sensitive Scalp Shampoo Bar

"The first wash was quite unexpected, my hair was waxy and all clumped together in streaks, it was quite daunting that this may persists for 3-4 weeks as described in the website. Although the texture of my hair was waxy and streaky. I do noticed that my scalp felt very comfortable without any itchiness. There were no frizz too. So, I decided to experiment on ways to reduce the waxiness and I realised that if you were to dilute the shampoo in some water, bubble it up and apply it, the waxiness is very much reduced. After towel dry, do not comb your hair when it’s wet but blow dry it. Then apply hair oil to the blow dried hair and comb through with a brush. This way, the hair was not waxy, nor streaky, there’s no frizz and the scalp felt comfortable. I hope the suggestion helps as this is a good product and it will be a pity if most gave up using due to the long detox phase."
